2018 was a big year for the film industry. With blockbuster hits like A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody to low-budget films like Eighth Grade, it was hard to keep up. 2019 is shaping up to be equally as great, so be sure to add these three new films to your list of must-sees!

Based on the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Hotel Mumbai stars Dev Patel as the protagonist. It was released March 22nd with Rotten Tomatoes saying “Hotel Mumbai remains a well-made dramatization of tragic events.”
The Most Dangerous Year is a documentary being released in late April. Directed by Vlada Knowlton, this film follows activists, lawmakers, and parents as they try to protect the rights of transgender children.
Yesterday is a new film directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire). It follows Jack Malik, an aspiring singer, who, after an accident, wakes up in a world without The Beatles. Jack takes advantage of this by performing their songs and becomes an overnight sensation. With covers of Beatles songs and guest appearances from famous singer’s themselves, it is sure to be a hit.
